So yesterday morning was my wedding anniversary. You’d think I would have been lounging in bed giving my husband of five years breakfast in bed with kisses, but instead I woke him up early to go shopping. Mr. J was just as eager as I was to go out because he wanted to try out our wedding anniversary present- a digital SLR camera.

I met up with Rachelle from Idiom Boutique, who was very happy to see me but exhausted from moving stock from Tauranga to Auckland and preparing all these beautiful items for voracious shoppers like myself. Her friends were also very nice and helpful, and they all gave me a great deal at the till. Awesome!

I picked up a Blak Basics dress with sexy cut-outs, and Mr. J liked it very much! He requested I wear it to his birthday drinks next week. I also acquired the Riddle Me This Dancer Dress. If you’re wondering why my face is flushed, it’s because the bodice of the dress is 100% merino so I’m very cosy! Perfect for the impending winter weather.DSC_0122

My favourite purchase? These Chaos & Harmony Pillar Heels, from $440 down to $189. With a nice chunky heel and three types of leather, I’m already breaking in these sexy shoes for future events.

If you’re busy or can’t afford to hit up the Designer Garage Sale next weekend, go check out this Pop Up Sale. Hell, even if you are going I recommend heading to High Street today or tomorrow. You’ll get in before anyone else at the garage sale and it will be a much more pleasant experience.
