Such a spectacular place. I only wish I had more time to wander around and capture the wild beauty of Otago…

This weekend I took a lovely walk through a couple of old cemeteries in West Auckland, searching for beautiful statues that have been untouched by time and unravaged by vandals. The best way to find them is to look for graves situated away from residential areas, as they aren’t frequented by the usual suburban ruffians. I must admit it really is a perfect way to focus on my love of sculptures and photography, enjoy a quiet stroll, and reflect on the nature of mortality.

I’ve been shooting a look book for a baby fashion boutique, and packing for a shopping trip in Queenstown. Enjoy this bundle of cuteness until i come back.

{Kate Sylvester Padlock Necklace}
I might not be able to buy, let alone wear the clothing from Kate Sylvester’s ‘The Secretary’ collection, but I am eyeing up the jewellery! This one is most definitely on my wishlist. I’m usually a big fan of silver, but I’m trying to slowly introduce gold pieces as they suit my skin tone as well. But since the necklace is only electroplated gold, I won’t be clamouring to buy anytime soon. Best to wait and see if the price drops. Me? A fashion vulture? You know it.

{Mollini Fedora Black Ankle Boots}
Another great Melbourne purchase. I have a bazillion ankle boots, but I need some that are flat or with a low heel to casually muck around in. Wool exterior with leather lining, and button up buckles. Nice and warm, and easy enough to dress up or give an edge to an otherwise shlubby outfit. One of the negatives of this boot is that the buckle buttons take ages to button up, and that you can clearly see big gaps that let the cold in.
Looking for a pair of ‘weather bomb’ boots to call your own? They have plenty of them out for the coming season, here’s two I’m interested in:

Keep warm and dry during this bad weather, my friends!
